Anytone AT-6666 Replacement Electret Microphone

Looking for a link to a replacement cb electret microphone that is wired for the 6666 already that is not the original type mic, if available. I hate the way it is made. I have read some mics like the new President ones dnc518/ dnc520 fit but when I look at the wiring it doesn't seem to match. Just want to know of one if any that I can just buy without rewiring, link appreciated. Does not matter if channel U/D works. Thank you.

EFHW 8010 Antenna ?...

I have a couple of those, both are the 8010hp models, and both is right at a 130ft long, end fed antennas from my antennas, like to no if anyone here is using this antenna, if so how high do you have it off the ground ?....

Reason asking me and a friend of mine is going to try and put one of mine up between 2 trees, both are like 60-70ft tall, never had any wires this high off the ground so should be fun....

It looks like just about everyone is out of the RF limited 2018 Mics. I somehow misplaced the one I had been using after changing trucks. I'm hoping I stashed it somewhere safe hahaha. Anyhow I still have one from years ago that has seen its better days, so I looked into buying a new one. The only place I could find that had one is GI Joes Electronics. I emailed them to confirm they had one,. I was told they only had a few left so I ordered one and sure enough it was here waiting on me when...

Good evening Radio Friends,
Well I'm thinking about adding a small amp to my radio setup in my car. The amp I'm looking at is a Texas star modulator V- plus v with a set of 2879 transistors, it does 100 watts max, the power is variable and has auto SSB built in,there only asking $189.00 + free shipping and it's in my price range! What I need to know(since it's been about almost 15 years since I ran a amp) yes I know it's illegal, but what I need to know is if I can just plug and play so to...

Hello, I have a question... "Is there a product / type of product available that you know of that would allow multiple radios operating in the same band to utilize 1 antenna? An example would be, if you had 8 radios wanting to monitor 8 frequencies a couple Mhz apart.

I understand that this may preclude you from transmitting on this setup directly.
I would need physical radios, as opposed to SDR.

whats out there? whats good? pros/cons, any information greatly appreciated

Gots me a new toy today..

Going to run A KL-203P behind it for a little kick (set the carrier at about 25W out of the amp and let it cruise)
I'll see how well it is set up from the Factory this weekend, hopefully.

Making another ammo can go box with 10/11 AM/FM and a VHF/UHF... I have a matching Anytone AT-778UV coming as well

That combination of radios will cover 11/10 meter, MURS, 2 meter, Marine, 70 cm, FRS and GRMS... just in case the poo hits the impeller, you know...

About a week ago I was out in my shop working on some radios for a few customers. In my shop I have a sleeper sofa, I got a bit tired and flopped down on it for a short nap (old people do this). I had this crazy dream that I had a Stryker 955 and on this 955 it had an amp. When I woke up, I thought “that is an awesome idea” and I went to the display case and yanked out a brand new 955.

In my stock of miscellaneous parts and junk, I happened to have the bottom amp from one of Rangers radios,...

I picked up a skipper three hundred at a yard sale it has the 6lf6 tubes in it it puts out watts fine but the modulation pegs out red even with the Mike gain all the way down my monitor jack on my meter does not work I think it squealing like feedback it has original caps in it big silver things any ideas to check thanks I still learning

Selling my HLA-150. I bought this from DNJ Radio. It has served me well. I used it with my FLEX-1500 and ICOM-IC-703. It functions great with no issues. Never used it on 160, except to test into a DL.


Never abused and still has original warranty tamper seal.
