Very nice mint condition AL-100 tuner. This is about the only LDG autotuner that seamlessly works with Alinco rigs. They don't make it anymore and is hard to find. This is the second one I've owned. It works great. Unit will come with manual and interface cable.

This mic is a few months old. I have had a few over the years. They sound great and will also work with Kenwood rigs. Ignore the Alinco trolls. I get great audio reports.

Nice FT-2DR with optional rapid charger. I bought this back in December 24th. It has had little use. It's in mint condition and works as it should. I purchased it to experiment with my Yaesu Wires-X node that I had in operation. I know longer use that, so this can go.

Unit will ship double boxed with all original accessories and box. The stock base charger is slow, which is why the rapid charger is needed for these units. It's easy to program with the touch screen or software.

Bought a 4 element dual band yagi. I have little gripe about the actual antenna, but the phasing harness is crap.

They use super cheap crimp on connectors that won't allow the center conductor to fully seat, which allows slop. The outer shell has a brass looking retaining clip which holds the out shell on. If you try to tighten to remove the slop, the ring snaps.

I had to replace all 4 connectors. This might be why eham flunkies are griping about SWR and tuning issues. Once fixed, the...

Anyone know the specs on the transformer in the boomer base amps? I'm fixing one for my buddy and the transformer is smoked. I plan on having epd build it but I can't find the specs on it anywhere.

Hope this thread gets a lot of play on the forum . . . but it is meant as an example for whatever electronics you may be working on . . it can be anything . . .

Got a Gibson Falcon tube guitar amp built around 1968-9. Got it for a song, around fifty bucks. Since it is getting into winter proper, I thought it would be a good time to work on it as a project while stuck indoors.

The person I got it from had gone into the amp to repair it, and what a mess he made of it. Hence the cheap...

I have a skipper that squeals when key watts normal at first then climbs to 900 watts putting 4 watts in about 10 seconds after keying squeals right away any ideas

Hi gang, Rechargeable 9V Li-ions have been around a few years and in 2018 I believe, a company called Kentli out of China has produced them in AA & AAA's. I am new to the art of HAM radio and know I have a lot to learn hence my reason for being here. Just a little background. I worked with my hands all my life and rarely took anything to a repair shop as I was able to fix most things on my own. Now days not so much. Diabetes took a good portion of my eyesight. I am the second owner, I purchased it from my Elmer who bought it new with the sideband filters installed. It was his pride and joy, he ran it faithfully until the internal power went out. He then ran it with an external power supply until he purchased a new FT-2000. It wasn't easy but I eventually was able to convince him to sell me the MP. hi, this is my second time of making a dipole antenna and this one is a success.

It’s made out of some spare RG8U. I had it 18 feet in length and then I trimmed off 1 inch at a time on each end until I got to 1.5 on channel one, and 1.5 on channel 40.

I was afraid to go further. Is this about what I should expect? It’s about 10 feet off the ground on a pole temporarily. I’m going to climb a 36 foot tower and put it in the top tomorrow. By sliding it in the z and then using U bolts...

I'm putting up a 6m jpole for local rag chew soon, and I need some good coax. I'm ready to get a 50' section of Lmr-400. I know it works good on vhf/uhf, but is it overkill?

making a temp antenna using either firestik 5 ft or 102 in whip as a base. been looking at Tram 1470/Harvest 1401/Negoya ground plane kits for 11 meter use.anyone have any exp with these ground plane kits that use a mobile antenna as a base..and are any worth a filp? Thank You. Old Guy In Texas.
