My mailbox was lying on the ground when I woke up. I have expensive surveillance cameras all over my property because Florida has become a sh!thole. The video clearly shows the car and license plate number plus the driver got out and pulled it down and stomped on it.
I had a friend run the plate and I drove over to the address....the car was right there parked on the lawn.
Knocked on the front door and talked to the father, I gave him two options.
1) Pay me $50 for the box and $25 for my...

By this what I mean is. . . . . I am just re_entering the ham radio hobby after being away from it for some 22 + yrs, but I must have unintentionally posted in the wrong area? Since I haven't gotten a reply, for what I thought was a simple question?. . . . . So I can't help but wonder??? Have things in the ARRL still the same I.E obviously very tight connections (viciously political & in control of everything, by a small tyrannical group of old FARTS & they were at the very least "Control...

RCI issues

I have a 1st gen RCI 2950 that all of the sudden won' t rx or tx. Sometimes just keying the mic fixes for a little while. Doesn't matter if it's hot or cold. Sometimes turning it off then back on it will come alive,other times not. I just replaced the battery and added a max mod but had these issues before. Worth sending out for repair?

Expo 100 expander channel kits info needed

I'm looking for the Expo channel expander kit crystal codes that are on the Xtals.
I have an A Kit with 2 xtals 1 has a T and the other a J on xtals nothing else.

Other kit is a Expo S+ and it has S X on xtal only single xtal on this board.

I know what radios these are for but seems when made they coded the xtals and did not put the frequency of said xtal on them.

Would anyone know the code to the xtals that was used for all the Expo 100 kits

Hantek DSO5102P Help

Hello i have a Hantek DSO5102P osciliscope 100 mhz, my problem is when i plug in bnc jack from sig gen to channel 1 i get no wave form , but when i connect to channel 2 my waveform shows up hope i didnt cause any damage to channel 1 or is that the way it is? thanks, any help would be appreciated.Both channels have been tested with my multimeter they read good as well.

Maco Comet Antenna

Is the Maco Comet a better option than the Maco M103HV for 11 meters?
I wanting to use the vertical side for in my state base to base or base to mobile contacts and the horizontal side for out of state and or DX or even someone in my state running horizontal a yagi as well.
The price point for the 2 is very close.
I notice the Comet has a better front to back ratio than the M103HV.
The gain is somewhat similar although I never believe any gain figure or multiplication factor from a 11 meter...

Super Scanner upgrade pwr handling?

I have heard you can upgrade the components on a super scanner antenna to handle more then 500w? Is this possible to do? I have a line on some cheap super scanner antennas, he has 2 complete and a 3rd for parts for $200 canadian, anyone know of such a mod?

I've made it a point to monitor 10m the past month or so. Most days I can see FT8 activity from South America. I'm located in Texas and am surprised to see that the US stations are seldom there to make contact with these stations. Today the dx was coming in from approx. 1900- thru 2100z and at the time of this post, are still coming in. I'm seeing many signals in the "plus", so I know they're easily workable. Saw a VP8 not too long ago who's CQ went unanswered. The band isn't dead, you just...
