My experience with the Beringer 802, sm 58 and an interface hooked up to my uniden madison was good because I've learn and understand more about using mixers, eq's and outboard audio gear.
My experience led me back to one conclusion.
My silver eagle sounds better than any mixer and studio mic will ever sound on a STOCK madison (no output mods)
If your using a stock CB radio a Turner or d104 with your mic and radio's gain set correctly it will sound very nice.
