I got a new texas star dx 350 hdv and it worked well for a couple months now. I decided I was going to upgrade the power wires to 8 guage and the antenna and transmit coax Jack's to 14 guage. Well I got everything soldered in and feeling proud until I turned the amp on. When I turn the amp on the cb radio gets quiet. I turn the amp off and the radio gets loud.
